Speech
Hey <school name>
So I figured that I had two options when I was writing this speech…
I could either tell you what I think you want to hear
OR…
I could tell you what YOU want to hear…
<school name> needs a leader that can figure out what you want and one that can also personally relate to your needs…
Don’t think that just because I am up here and you’re down that I am better than you, or any more special than you…
Because I am you.
I am just a <school name> student…
I’m just a <school name> student that decided to turn in his election packet at the last second and get all the requirements and signatures on that same day.
Nothing more.
See <school name>…
We’re no strangers to love….
You know the rules, and so do I
A full commitments what im thinkin’ of
And you wouldn’t get this from…any other guy…
I… just wanna tell you how I’m feeling…
Just gotta make you understand..
I’m NEVER gonna give you up…
I’m never… gonna let you down
Never gonna run around and…
desert you
Never gonna make you cry…
or say goodbye
Or tell a lie
and hurt you.
You see <school name>
We’ve known each other…
for so long….
Your heart’s been aching but.. you’re too shy to say it.
Inside we both know what’s been goin’ on…
We know the game and we’re gonna play it
And if you ask me how I’m feeling…
Don’t tell me you’re too blind to see.
Thankyou <school name>
