According to our election countdown, we only have a little over a day left to the Election Season. It didn't seem long ago that we were being nominated and now, here we are, so close to the end.

This election has been hard fought and, no matter the outcome, I want to thank my opponents, Therle and Mandy, for providing a different view and different options. I would also like to thank Robert Gulley for his tireless efforts to maintain fairness and to keep the election clean. I would like to thank Jack for his calm influence and his work behind the scenes, despite living at work. I'd also like to thank the handful of people who helped Jack and I behind the scenes, writing interviews, designing advertisements, and providing support.

Most importantly, I want to thank everyone who has read the ship and made a choice to vote. Don't ever think your vote doesn't count. Your vote matters to us and matters to the future of this club. Your vote shows that the club matters to you and you want the best for the club. Please remember how important this is!

This is what drives Jack and I, what persuaded us to run, made us create our campaign and keeps us posting each time. We care about the club; the club matters to both of us and we want the best for the club.

Our campaign, the Right STuff, is based on things we have seen during our time in government and as role-players. It is intended to help address problems in the club, but more importantly, to recognize the roles of the people who matter: you, the members. We stand for improved communications, better training, and increased support. We speak from experience and we speak from having been in those situations ourselves.

This club is approaching a key moment in its long history. We have a declining membership and there are improvemtns that are needed. Our campaign addresses these topics realistically. We do not make false promises. There are no wild schemes that will never work or have the potential to cause damage to the club or to the WeBB itself. They are just simple ideas that can be implemented and will make a difference to the club. We want to build a club that will be strong for the long term; there are no short term patches here.

Are we the Right Stuff? That is for you, the voter, to decide. Your vote will make a difference for the future. Make it count. Come August 1st, make sure that you have a President and a Vice President that you can trust, with policies that will work.

Remember, this is YOUR club.

Sarah
