I remember a time, not too long ago when one could be proud of his country. Where he could stand and say whole heartily "This is my government, these are my leaders. I elected them to lead me, and I trust them to lead me in the proper direction". When was the last time you heard something of that magnitude. This country is becoming and idiocracy, a shadow of it's former self run by corrupt politician in the pockets of corporations, and elected by cellphone yapping chimps who worry more about the future of their favorite celebrity than the future of man. We need change. Every epact a candidate comes through the tubes offering some sort of change, a break for the normality of corruption, however very few make good on their promise. It is time to stand up and hold them to these promises, it is time to stand up, speak out, and let the world hear our promise. Our promise to disassemble and rebuild our government. To take back what we once had, and to rebuild a democracy we can again be proud of.
