Primary Areas for each IRC Corporation
3/20/2008 4:42:56 PM
Because IRC has grown so significantly, and because we absolutely must spread out across Etherium Reach to maximize resources, defense and further expansion and growth, and, also, to minimize larger corporations depleting resources in smaller corp. areas, we have revised the primary systems for each IRC corporation. Each corporation now has a primary system near their home base and a more remote secondary system. All systems are designed to be within a couple of jumps or a jump bridge to allow quick travel and exploitation of resources, as well as facilitate defense. You can mine or rat in the remote system and, with the JB system, be in D-IZ to refine, reprocess, or sell with only a few jumps. Likewise, if enemies are spotted, a fleet can be mobilized and deployed to the remote location quickly.
Thanks to Koroc Nevarine and Pantheras, who worked hours making sure that the system provided sufficient belts to match up with the size and activity of our various member corporations.
NOTE: WE ARE WORKING WITH GOONSWARM AND DO NOT WANT ANY INCIDENTS. If a GS member is in a system, at least for now, report to command and work with the GS member. Be courteous and, at least until final arrangements are made, if asked to leave, leave, but definitely contact someone in command so this can be passed on in our negotiations with GS. Thanks.
System Rules ? To maximize exploitation of Etherium Reach Resources:
1. Use common sense. If you are travelling through another?s primary system and there are rats on the gate, kill them, loot them, and salvage them if no one else is working the spawn. No IRC member should ever lose a ship to rats!
2. For Primary systems, consider them reserved for the corporation to which they are assigned. Corporations must FULLY exploit their primary areas before moving to the overflow systems. No holding back on your own systems and first mining the overflows. Obviously, we are not talking about low ends, but we do expect everything from Gneiss up to be mined in the primary systems before moving to overflow systems. Similarly, before ratters move on to overflow, all belts need to be fully occupied in the primary systems.
3. If there is a legitimate reason for ratting/mining in a non-primary system, ask permission. If an individual miner/ratter only has a few minutes and asks to join, if possible, all IRC members should try to accommodate, in a spirit of teamwork. However, this does not mean asking to join with your 6 Hulk fleet which can strip a belt in 2 minutes or trying to horn in on the good spawns because you are too lazy to work your own.
4. In Overflow systems, no one can ?claim? the system. If others come in you can ?claim? 1 belt. Again, try to cooperate and share where possible.
5. The areas around the Outposts are generally reserved for IRC Ops, command, and the occasional miners. If you are only on and able to rat or mine for a few minutes, feel free to use these systems, unless someone else is already working a particular spawn. Many times, you can share ? e.g., miners mine, while ratters rat.
6. If our Etherium Reach partners Ethereal Dawn are in the system, please advise your CEO, or someone in the IRC Command structure. Treat ED with respect and courtesy and work together as best as possible. Some of these systems, particularly those listed in the expansion and overflow sections, may end up belonging to ED. We are still sorting out some of the logistics.
7. Remember, we are a team and the more and better we work together the stronger and richer we all will be.
8. These rules are established so ALL IRC members have an opportunity to prosper. All violations should be reported to Koroc Nevarine, Dibrle, or Oldma. If a violation is deemed deliberate (e.g., pilot does not adhere to rules when reminded or is a habitual offender), the pilot?s corporation will be subject to the IRC fine for failing to follow the rules See post in IRC Command Section on Forum. The fine, currently, is 100M ISK for first offense (after a warning in most cases). It will then be up to the corporation to discipline the pilot.
9. If you scan an exploration site (sites that cannot be found without probing) drop a jet can with time you found it and you have until that first can expires to exploit the site. If two corporations scan out a site at the same time, please work it out between yourselves ? share or come up with another mutually agreeable system. We are all IRC.
10. Issues, problems, and requests regarding assignments are to be directed to Koroc Nevarine.
NOTE: All other Alliance policies remain in effect, including the rule taht ALL refining and reprocessing must be done at D-IZT9.

IRC JUMP BRIDGES Planned
89-JPE TO N06Z-Q (EOG)
4-QDIX TO V-OL61 (BlueP)
IRC will be setting up 2 sets of jump bridges over time to assist in this.
1 bridge in 89-JPE going to QKCU-4 (1 bridge)
1 bridge in QKCU-4 going to V-OL61 (1 bridge)
This will allow even people further out to Jump Bridge to 89- in just a few minutes and be home, back in D-IZ. If changes are made in these plans, they will be posted as appropriate.
IMPORTANT: All POSes must be cleared with Porkfat (Moon Mining) and Msior/Blood Thorn (logistics) before anchoring a tower to ensure coordination of long term IRC goals. If you can not reach one of them, contact Nutra/Cromie, Koroc Nevarine, Farham, Dibrle, or Oldma.
Thanks,
Dibrle
