When once the world was young,
The sunlight bright and new
Among the misted land
Walked the ones e'eryone knew
Legends in their own lifetime
They slew those of evil blood
But the dawn of a new age
Drove heroes from the good
Despite their one last stand
Fighting arrow, sword and spear
The legends fell from grace
And in the new dark grew fear
Gripping once pleasant lands
It flourished unabated
The people cried for mercy
Resent for their once strong hatred
But the heroes had departed
Taken from the younger land
Betrayed by their own people
Pushed with an evil hand
As fear pierced their sullen hearts
One stood above the rest
Courage replaced the evil
And he set about his quest
An ancient sword of heroes
Taken by golden hilt
He wandered the empty world
A reputation to be built
He fought those of evil blood
And joined forces with the few
Who drove the fear from hearts
Creating light anew
No more were there frightened
Hearts no longer bruised and torn
The courage had returned to man
The Legends had been Reborn
