The Interface:

The code where I am trying to instanciate it:

        ConfigChangedListener<? extends Serializable> myListener = new ConfigChangedListener<T extends Serializable>() {

            public void configValueChanged(BaseConfig<T> configEntry, T oldValue, T newValue) {
            }
        };


The following DOES work, however:
---------------------------------

public class Foo<T extends Serializable> implements ConfigChangedListener<T> {
    public void configValueChanged(BaseConfig<T> configEntry, T oldValue, T newValue) {
