Obviously the lack of funding for new technology in our schools is a big problem in our society. Technology makes the lives of everyone much easier, but students in public schools cannot enjoy the benefits of this new technology because our schools do not have enough money for it. Some schools just don’t have the money , but others are spending money on the wrong things and should be focusing on education. Also the lack of funding for our schools is resulting in a poor learning environment. We are even beginning to use portables as permanent classrooms, which is not what they were made for. And because of this some students are less willing to learn. If we could make schools a much more comfortable place to learn and have new technology which would make teaching easier, then students and teachers would be much happier and the schools would be improved greatly. There are ways to help in your community to make this happen. PTSA members can propose ideas for a technology plan so that our overall school system will be improved. I’m sure that if community members keep working to help this cause that it will eventually be solved.
