Greetings Luminaries!
I am writing this post to inform you all of some rather upsetting news. I am very sad to say that it appears that something has happened to our Morning Star. He had scribed a rather incoherent and groggy post on the guild leadership clan’s news boards in which he sounded to be struggling to maintain consciousness. Since that post he hasn’t been seen by anyone and I fear that he will not be returning to us anytime soon. Zorn has been not only a mentor to me for nearly two decades but I have considered him to be the best friend that someone could have. I believe I speak for the guild as a whole when I say that are hopes and prayers are with you, Zorn. We hope that you return to us in good health soon!
Because of the events that have unfolded I feel that it is in the guild’s best interest for us to plan for the worst. Therefore, I believe it is my duty to step up and contest Zorn for Morning Star. I wish it could have been under better circumstances but I think it is for the best. The Luminaries have brought so much to my life and I am extremely thankful that I came across them at the young age that I did or who knows where I might have ended up. My life has been filled with the gifts of the Light since I came to the guild and we must always remember our struggle. Our fight to bring the Light to every corner of the realm, this is something that we can only do by keeping our eyes toward the future of our great guild. As always, it is encouraged that anyone else who feels that they are suited to the Guildmaster position contests as well.
About my qualifications now: I have been with the Luminaries since I was a young Atavian. I joined at the age of 18 seeking to make an imprint on this realm in the name of Light. While I have never been a very combat-minded person, I like to think that the contributions I have made to the guild over time have resulted in some good. By the time I was 22, I was appointed as a guild aide. A little under 2 years later I was appointed to the position of Secretary and head of the Angel Path. And a year after that, at 25, Daskalos gave me the honor of the Flamewright position. More recently, over the last year or two I have also served as Legate and adviser to our current Morning Star. I have been involved in guild leadership for about 13 years now, and it has been the most fulfilling time in my life. In addition to my duties within the guild, I also serve as Ambassador to Enorian and have served several of its other ministries as an aide. I am also a devout follower of Lady Auresae, and have a strong understanding of her tenets, upon which our guild was founded.
I have always felt a great pride in calling myself a Luminary and I am happy to serve the guild in any way that I can. Should my fellow guildmates decide that I am capable of discharging the duties of Guildmaster then I would be greatly honored.
