                                    ----

The Trophy Garden is sort of a semi-hidden area of Route 212. Located at the
back of a giant mansion, it is home to several variety of Pokemon. You can
enter the garden before getting the National Pokedex, but all you will
really find that can be of any use is Pikachu and Pichu (and Roselia if you
   have not caught one yet).

The draw of this place, however, is the rare Pokemon that can appear after
beating the Elite Four and getting the National Pokedex. Here is a list of
all the Pokemon that can be found in the garden:

However, there is a catch to the place: The Pokemon that appear here are
random, and only 2 can appear at once. To activate the event, go in the
mansion and go to the right wing until you find a room with the owner and
his butler in it (You will know when you see them standing next to each
other). Talk to the owner and answer yes to all his question and eventually
the Pokemon he is bragging about will come up. That Pokemon will then appear
in the garden. You will then have to wait until the next day to talk to him
again to get a new Pokemon in the garden.

There is a nice side to it, however. Unlike swarms, the Pokemon will stay in
the garden until you talk to the guy 3. And as mentioned earlier: you can
have up to two Pokemon in the garden at once. Here is a small example:

The first day you talk to him and Meowth start appearing, and the second
time you talk to him Marill will start appearing. It goes like this:

   - Meowth
   - Marill

The third time you talk to him, you start to get Eevee. It goes like this:

   - Marill
   - Eevee

Meowth will no longer appear in the garden, yet Marill will still appear and
   Eevee as well.

Fortunatly, there is another way to manipulate the garden: you can influence
the Pokemon that appear. How? Save before you talk to the owner. What the
game does is randomly choose a Pokemon when you talk to him, and does not
choose automatically for each day like swarm Pokemon. That way, you can
reload if you get a Pokemon you do not want in the garden.

Another thing to note is that you can raise the appearance rate of cetain
rare Pokemon if the level they can appear at is at least level 18 (For
example: Chansey can be encountered at level 18 while in the garden). If
so, then you can drastically raise their appearance by having a level 18
Pokemon in the front of your party and use a bunch of repels. This way,
the only Pokemon that appear are Pikachu and the Pokemon that can appear
at level 18. (Look at the lucky egg section for more info on this).

Finally, a few more things before we end this section:

   * The repel trick does not work with Sweet Scent and the Pokeradar

   * As you can see, it is very hard to find many of the post-national dex
Pokemon in the garden. There are some times where I will have a new
Pokemon start appearing in the garden, yet I will never see them and
mostly see older event Pokemon (Like say I had Porygon and Eevee in the
garden and had Porygon active first. Sometimes, I would see nothing but
     Porygon in the garden).

   * You can use the Pokeradar in the garden to find event Pokemon.

   * If anyone has any info on what levels the event Pokemon appear at, please
     send it to my email.
