I successfully compiled and installed the git://anongit.freedesktop.org/git/xorg/driver/xf86-video-intel driver for my intel chipset: 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Mobile 945GM/GMS, 943/940GML Express Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 03) but when playing dvd movies the video output is a sort of texture overlay, and the brightness and contrast control of totem-xine do not change the output image, because i use the output on a beamer that need other brightness settings i cant get a good output image. So how can I control the brightness and contrast of my video output?
