Religion. Many people believe in one, and they live by it. They set their lives to it, and never go outside the lines that the religion has set for them to follow.

In my opinion, I don’t see any logic in that. We should live our lives the way we want to, and not the way some book tells us to. Now, I’m not trying to bring down the bible here, it has many great stories to read about; but that’s exactly what they are: Stories. We don’t know that these things happened for sure. We can’t know. The only way for someone to truly know something is to witness is personally with your own eyes. Other than that, we lay trust in others’ statements or beliefs for them to be true. We trust them.

Now, I don’t know about all of you, but I don’t really like the idea of putting my life into trusting a book. I think we should live our lives the way we should; the way we want to live them. Because if you limit yourself to something someone or something has to say, you’re not going to live your life to its fullest, and you’re going to miss out on cool things in your life.

Now, people have told me before, “How do you explain this? How do you explain that?” Well, we can’t right now, but we will be able to. In the past century, physics has improved exponentially and has explained many things we weren’t able to explain before. Soon, physics will overtake religion in explaining the phenomenon of the universe, how everything came to be, why things do what they do, etcetera.

Now, saying that, I’m not saying that if you believe in a religion your life is going to be boring. Religious people do have good lives, but I just think it’s so much better to be atheist. You should live your life the way you want to, and not the way another person, or a book tells you to live it. And that’s why you should be atheist.

Lost the game.
