Here you have a RSS feed under the "BBC news" - the fancy thing is that you can choose to talk about the news.
When you click on "Talk about it", a new topic is added to your forum with the content from the RSS feed and then you can easily start debating the news.
In many ways your mod is already able to do it all but not quite the way I need.
I dont want to have a huge database full of posts I only want to have the news added to the forum when someone wants to start a debate/talk about it.
The way I would like it to work is like this:
A block on my frontpage (portal.php)
The block should list top 10 medical news from the sources I add in FIND
When you point your mouse over a news subject you should be able to read the story via some mouseover function eg. taken from the calendar mod I also use.
When you press on the icon: you can start to debate the news and not until now the news is added to the forum with the content (like now) and the user can start commenting the article.
So what I need is a combination of an RSS reader and FIND. Do you understand?
Can you in any way be helpful with that?
