With all the recent crying about druids this and druids that, euro comp omg skillless and TSG comp skillless warlock training. I figured I'd make a movie about some skill less beating of these comps:
First fight, RMP vs Druid/hunter/lock. Standard chastise->fear->cs->blind, all the while training/dispelling lock wins the game. Chastise is amazing, they should give it too all priests instead of nerfing it. qq! If you fail the initial burst/CC you usually have enough mana for a 2nd go at it but if you fail the 2nd time you pretty much will lose the fights As long as you can have a purged lock and topped off mage when you start your CC chain on the lock you should win.
Second fight, 2345 vs Euro comp. I pretty much just chain dispel the warlock while my team spams damage on him till he dies. With heavy dispelling it forces the priest to heal, if they don't it's usually a fast kill, as seen in this fight.
Third fight, RMP vs Druid/rogue/war. They both go for my mage and force and early block I run up ramp to force druid down but he jumps off early, chastise into fear->trinkets then I get an MC off for the kill. Similar to vs druid/hunter/lock but you have to heal more so you can't dispel so that's unfavourable. If they split DPS we pretty much do the same thing. I usually end up staying alive just barely long enough to get a kill in but it usually ends up very close/2v2, RMP is at a disadvantage against this comp, oh well.
Fourth fight, RMP vs Druid/lock/war. Same start as vs druid/hunter/lock, but no viper sting and your mage can kite much better, chain dispelling + chastise->fear->blind/CS/MC wins these games.
Fifth fight, 2345 vs Euro comp. Better team overall this time, priest go for heals instead of mana burns while I chain dispel the lock, lock just barely gets away but chain dispels when he comes back kills them without PS up.
Sixth fight, 2345 vs 'TSG' comp. I go for the chain dispel burst but it fails, I tunnel visioned lots but a druid swap gets a kill in the end. It was one of our first time playing that comp so I changed my mid/late game strat since to lots more mana burns than dispels once we don't have heroism to burst. Since they don't really have drains this usually works out. If they try to get on me, chain dispels + free casting DPS is usually a fast kill even without Heroism. Our overall start is train lock and if I can get the druid to trinket a fear, an intercept stun into a HoJ in caster is usually a kill. Oh and our mage dies soon after the druid does in that fight but at that point killing we killed the rest of their team off fast anyways. was trying to save on video length.
Fight seven, 2345 vs 'tsg' comp again. This time we don't fail our burst and lock goes down to the skilled dispel train gogo skilled 1 button spam.
Last fight is 2345 vs Euro comp. I went for mana burns over dispels early and in hindsight, going for dispel spam early on just puts better pressure on the opposing team, with occasional mana burns if I get a chance.
All in all I think people scream counter-comp before they have even fought teams enough to really get to try out different strats and such and jump to conclusions and its gotten kinda old. Hopefully this helps some teams learn to counter these teams.
