"Why ziphone sucks and why it's unethical"
The ziphone application that has recently gotten so much hype is turning out to be quite the headache for inexperienced users. The community is not a fan of this application either. Why might you ask! A one click unlocking and jailbreak solution to make my life easy. Here's a list of why this ziphone application sucks, is dangerous and just plain unethical.
First off zibri, or whatever his name, is stealing code. Give credit where credit is due. You don't just take open source code from the dev team and start making your own applications without mentioning who wrote the original code.
Second switching the baseband and hard rewriting it? At least with the dev teams method we can restore our phones and get apple warranty work done without too much hassle. If something goes wrong with 'our' unlock we just restore to 1.1.1 and start over. Your method doesn't fix or backup the phone - something goes wrong with your method and the phone is hard to fix.
Get your head out of your ass and do what's best for the phone not your wallet, zibri.
