The purpose of this memo is to state the topic which our proposal will be based on. This memo describes the development in which we are going to investigate our topic.

The topic we decided to research is the health risks related to cell phone use. We chose this topic because it poses a health threat to our society. Moreover, it is extremely important that people should be informed about the problems that cell phones use may cause.

The approach we are going to take towards the project is to conduct primary and secondary research. Our primary research will consist of interviewing experts, conducting surveys, and observations in the specific field. Our secondary research will include the Internet, books, newspapers, and scholastic journals. With the combination of primary and secondary research, we are going to investigate in depth the harmful effects of cell phone use by focusing on these questions:

1.	What are the benefits of cell phone use?
2.	How cell phone use affects people’s hearing?
3.	What other problems cell phone use cause?
4.	What actions can society take to prevent the effects of cell phone use?

We are looking forward on discovering as much information as possible to inform the society about the health risks that cell phones cause. Therefore, it is our priority to conduct extensive research for the benefit of society.
