1. a. The two loss exposure identification methods are, contract and lease analysis, and checklist or questionnaires. The contract and lease analysis method is basically used to determine the risk of liability of the club that is going to be respresented. The checklist or questionnaires method is to determine the property loss exposures, the company uses this method to see if the club is fit to operate.
b. The contract and lease analysis is used to identify liability exposures, while the checklist or questionnaires method is to used to identify property loss exposures.

2. Property Loss- Train accidents from the frequent use of trains as a method of transportation. This example is a loss exposure because the Ringling company owns its own set of trains, making the trains they ride on their own property. So any form of transportation accident would mean that it is a train accident making it a property loss.
Liability Loss- Loading and unloading of trains by 150 employees. The 150 employees of the circus are responsible for the various tasks of setting up the tent in which the performance which is held, which is “traditionally associated with significant works’ compensation.”
Net Income Loss- Net income loss from property loss of circus animals. Since net income loss can only happen as a result of the other three losses, any loss exposure would and could produce a net income loss, if one or a few circus animals dies off, then spectators might not come to see the circus causing a loss in revenue not to mention an increase in expenses to acquire new animals.
Personnel Loss- Performer accidents from dangerous acts. Since the circus performer perform death defying acts, jumping from high places or tangling with wild animals, there is a chance where the performer can fall or be mauled by an animal, causing a loss of personnel.

3. The principle loss being represented in the article Businesses Suffer the Most from U.P.S. Strike, is the loss of net income. Since the article is about how UPS stopped shipping packages from small business, we can deduce that there can be few if any personnel losses, nor liability losses. However we can see that since the businesses cannot continue on shipping their products and must use another carrier, which decreases revenue, and increase expenses. The loss of net income will also cause a secondary loss, which is the loss of property due to the inability to pay rent.
