The Gamestation LAN has started in Cornwall, NY, with a showing of 11 teams, including a number of top-tier players and well-known names. The obvious favorite (as they are at every eastcoast LAN) is Devastation, who is playing this tournament with K187 as their 5th. However, a pug (aptly titled LoLPug) was put together with AZK, PEX, Volcano, Sapphire and Wu, as well as a pug of $hredder, Daemos, PenguinMurda and PrecisioN1.
The two headlining stories have nothing to do with these teams, however. One is the LAN debut of PrecisioN1, and the other is the first US LAN performance of Crucial Connexion.
Crucial Connexion played their first match, losing 11-1 on their CT side of de_train, causing for much debate, as many players have claimed that their playstyle was fishy - many labeling them as cheaters. Their loss came against the j1n pug, and they finished the match with a 13-1 loss. Scores, pictures and more will be coming throughout the day on winAround.com
