Jeff,

Thank you for the offer. I have a few questions that I've though of while evaluating the offer.

During the quarterly review process, in addition to performance, is salary also reviewed at this time? If not, how often is salary reviewed?

Is there a defined career path for this position? I know that we talked briefly about this, but not in much detail.

What kind of salary progression does the company expect for someone in this position seeing in the next 3 to 5 years?

Is there any sort of tuition reimbursement program in place if I were to want to pursue a graduate degree related to the company or my position?

What, if any, sort of compensation is offered for working beyond/over normal business hours when necessary?

Would it be possible for the company to include a relocation package in the offer?

I would like to accept your offer, and look forward to working with Phase2. However, the base salary is somewhat lower than what I was expecting knowing my skills and the average pay of a developer with similar skills and traits in the DC area. I feel that an offer of $75,000 base salary would be more in line with my skills and abilities for this position, and I would immediately accept such an offer. At the moment I am thinking that a start date of March 10 will give me sufficient time to wrap up with my present employer and make the move back to DC.

Once I receive back answers to the questions I've asked above, I feel that I will be in a better position to more fully evaluate the offer and the position.

I look forward to hearing back from you and hope that you're having a great weekend.

Thanks,
