Jagex Customer Support
--------------------------------------------------------------
Oh, thank you Jagex for giving me a second....hey, wait a second. I didn't state (in my appeal) that I wasn't in control of my account. In fact, I sent in a query about Customer Support making a mistake.
This isn't some rant where I'm complaining because I got temporarily muted for a reason. No. This is a website suggestion, that suggests that Customer Support should actually read such appeals.
Yes, from the above paragraph you can see that I was temporarily muted. For 24 whole hours, in fact. The thing is, I don't know exactly why.
I was in my clan chat answering a few questions from some fellow players and an unnamed Runescaper says, and I quote:
*********->redwine69: tell him 2 add me
*********->redwine69: or i swear ill ban u
We won't go into detail of what the conversation was, but this is the point where I think Customer Service decided not to read carefully enough. You see, after he said this *I* reported him under Rule 5: Jagex Staff Impersonation. Yes, that arrow pointing *to* my name means it was said to me.
My question to you, Jagex, is why did I receive this .1 black mark? Wait, what...? .1 black marks? But Jagex Staff Impersonation sounds like a serious offense. Isn't .1 black marks reserved for less serious matters? Was Customer Support confused? Did I actually do something wrong? This I'll never know...
...due to an automated response message program called 'Jagex Customer Support'.
Thank you for your time.
