[12:42] hotstuffgaia: Observation #1: Tsuba/Kitsu doesn't want to talk to me. Says it is "too wierd." I think they have something to hide since they keep avoiding me. I'm friends and acquainted with all my kids' friends without any problem. Deceitful, I think.

[12:48] hotstuffgaia: Observation #2: I havent' seen Ronin cry so much since knowing Kitsu. I think that Kitsu is saying mean stuff to Ronin, or making Ronin feel bad about abilities. I don't like it. It isn't the norm. Ronin luffs art and is really good at it, but puts down the good stuff because of Kitsu. Something isn't right.

[12:51] hotstuffgaia: Observation #3: Ever since IMing with Kitsu, Ronin has withdrawn, become depressed, dropped out of college, had to come home, and we had to take the laptop back just to force Ronin to go to sleep at night.

[12:53] hotstuffgaia: I had to get Ronin to counseling, and maybe medication, it's so bad. We come from a nice, close-knot family. Ronin's sister wants to go to NY and pay somebody a visit!

[12:55] hotstuffgaia: We have a seemingly normal family life. Nobody is a drunk, druggie or abuser. I don't even permit any name-calling or it's on...so when I see Ronin up in the middle of the night crying on a weekend while IMing, and lies about the reason, yeah, it's on...
[13:00] hotstuffgaia: Observation #4: I think Kitsu has a major hold on Ronin and unhealthy. There is something she is holding over Ronin's head. Ronin hasn't been the same since leaving for college, but we figured it was homesickness, which may partly be, since we also were sad. But this continued on to the point of failing college. Ronin's best friend at college from high school, Akane, mentioned the all-nighters and missing classes, also concerned about well-being. The only thing we could do was withdraw and bring Ronin home to get some help.
[13:04] hotstuffgaia: Now here's the other thing: We kept Ronin's identity a secret because Ronin's friends in Gaia have known her for years as a guy. It would really hurt these friends, especially in Everchange, if we spilled it. Ronin thought Tsuba was a guy, but wasn't. I found out about it and got on an IM about it. It was then that Tsuba didn't talk to me anymore, basically because I said that I didn't allow Ronin to misrepresent who she really is or to set somebody up to be hurt. Kitsu's response was that people online always lie and it's expected. I said, "Integrity is what you are when nobody's looking." Cold shoulder. I was written off for that. Deceitful. Deceptive. I am not liking this ro what Ronin is becoming because of it.

[13:26] hotstuffgaia: I figured. So what do you know about my observations? What have you seen, since you know Kitsu irl?
[13:31] fuzballkoneko: I think that there might me a relationship betewn them that they won't admit to themselves. Ronin, because she's straight, and kitsu, because she's taken.
[13:36] hotstuffgaia: The whole thing is just too wierd. At times, whenever Ronin is feeling low, is easily influenced by a strong, powerful, seemingly caring person, but gets taken over. When I was on the IM after the "wedding" which really upset me before Christmas, they both were saying that they were only just great friends and have so much in common about so many things. That's fine, and so is Ronin's best friend Sesshy-Face and Moridiman, both guys, and Akane, a girl in a guy's avi. But they are all on even footing, not this one-sided preoccupation, but all best friends irl from high school.
[13:37] hotstuffgaia: So my question is, what about Kitsu? What did Kitsu do? You two used to date, yea?

[13:45] fuzballkoneko: then treated me like shit for 3 months, and then dated my best friend, who she is still with to this day.

I've been tough on my girls because I won't stand for them to manipulate anybody to get whatever they want. They are straight up and up front about their life. I won't have it any other way. So I don't like it when people are deceitful. I think that Kitsu wasn't completely honest with what was said to Ronin about all this, or if she was, she put such a spin on it to bring it to her favor.

[14:08] hotstuffgaia: No, there's more to it than just that. A jerk is tolerable. If she was just being fickle, that'd be one thing. This is a larger problem and more pervasive than just people dating and breaking up.

[14:09] fuzballkoneko: I'm not trying to intrude, but do you have the log files of their conversations? I can check that against what I know to try and figure what's going on. and yeah, I know there was something more, but I'm not getting an answer out of her any time soon.

As far as I'm concerned, there is no integrity, only deceit, and cruelty. I think that you did very well to have gotten out of the relationship even though it wasn't properly executed and you got hurt.

I wouldn't do the revenge thing, either, making you look all scorned and giving credit to why Kitsu should have dumped you, bolstering her case. You need to remain the nice guy in all this.
