Hey Jesse,
Bob is really forcing the root on boxes issue. He's actually placed a timetable on it, by the end of this weekend. We clearly can't trust him with this access; his history is filled with unpleasant encounters with Net Ops and general incompetence.
We're actually rather concerned that if we don't give it to him, he'll do something rash and format the boxes. Since he still has physical access to gluttony (the 2TB raid box) I'm rather concerned. I'd like to keep the servers in the CS server room (and Bob out of there) until we can work this out.
I'm sorry to get you involved in all this, but this is becoming quite a mess. Ken Breeman and I would like to talk to you to fill in the details. Just let me know when you're free.
