My dear McDonald I am ever so glad to see you here, and as a political leader with such a reputation as yourself I am sure you have the seen rise and downfall of many things in the British north American government, and I am sure you have many numerous ,luscious ways to make BNA flourish and improve as a colony, and my dear friend I would like to discuss such matters with you, for you see I too agree with a large amount of your visions, but I think what we should focus on at the time is considering Confederation, now, naturally I would be here to discuss making Ireland free from British rule, but over time, and during my political career in the eastern part of British North America, my attitude has changed on the entire matter, and now I am mainly dedicated to improving us as a colony, because a country with ever so much potential can only way to flourish. Now I was mainly impressed by your visions on confederation, because a country with a clean new slate like ours could sure benefit from it, but first off, instead of calling it confederation, I go by it as a New nationality, in fact, a Canadian nationality, not a Irish Canadian or a French Canadian nationality, but an entire, Canadian nationality, for you see, this way all kinds of people from all kinds of religions, cultures, and backgrounds can receive equal rights and equal privileges , of course, under a Canadian nationality, however if we go through confederation , I understand that provinces wont have such independent based power, meaning they would generally give there power up to a central government, so I ask you friend, what advantages would the provinces get if we were to give the residuum of power to British North American instead of just the separate colonies?
