We wish to inform you that CanMutal Inc. is being acquired by Mutal Corp US at the end of this month. This will not affect how your account is managed as Canadian law prohibits any substantial changes to be made to how accounts are handled. We will though be changing our office infrastructure and policies which is to be expected during a company merger.
The major changes that will go into effect after this acquisition will be reduced hours of operation and closure of several local branches. However, downsizing and reduced hours do not represent a less customer-oriented business, but merely reflect a more effective use of resources. As a result of this restructuring, additional company resources will be available to employ more skilled employees to aid in your investments. Since Mutual Corp has already has a large customer base they are experienced in managing resources to better your investments and still provide excellent customer service.
