Today, we live in an industrialized society which has many benefits, but which has to pay a price for progress: The question that we have to ask ourselves is whether the price is worth paying.
On the one hand, the benefits of industrialization outweight the disadvantages. We would rather drive cars, than walk - it saves time and money.
In addition, the price we pay is a temporary price. Further development will reduce pollution, and so the price is worth paying.
On the other hand, there are various reasons against industrialization. Some of them are, that damage caused is irreversible, industrialization causes diseases to develop, and another reason is that global temperature changes are also caused by the same reason.
In conclusion, despite the disadvantages, further industrialization is necessary, and pollution is currently the price we have to pay and is worth paying.
