Dear Roommate,
You may have heard many things about me – regular things like how I look, what are my grades, etc. But you haven't heard some things which you will soon find out if you live with me. Let me just warn you in advance! I love a mess around me; I find order in my disorganized ways! I am a stickler for hygiene and like to keep the bathroom and any place where water flows clean. I may go through days of lethargy and then suddenly go into a working frenzy – during which I complete the work most people take all those days which I spent lazing around to do! You may sometimes be woken up at night by the light – I may have gotten a flash of inspiration – I'd be writing something in my semi-conscious state! You'll also have to put up with endless recitations of my new poems, or forced reviews of my prose. I will probably be homesick, so you'll also have to put up with my crying.
Since I love books, you'll be witness to a scattered pile of books everyday – and me sobbing over the emotional parts .
And despite all of these warnings I have given, I am still looking forward to being your roommate in the school of my dreams!
Sincerely,
Aditi

I can add some common things like independent study, study abroad, diversity
like:
At the moment, I am rather confused what to do in my life – should I pursue law or clinical psychology? I have gotten mixed reviews of my talents and potential so far. But the one thing that I am not confused about is that whatever I do, I will do it with passion and focus – I will devote my mind and soul to it. The Psychology department – with its amazing faculty – seems to be the place for me to begin my great journey into the 'big bad real world' (needless to say, I consider trials in life not to be obstacles but challenges to overcome – so for me, the real world isn't big or bad, but just another test of my mettle!).

Being of a diverse background myself, I am looking forward to finding similar diversity in my "temple" of higher education. The university's diversity in students will prove to be a stimulating factor for me, I believe. The extra-curricular activities are of such variety that I am sure that I will find all my wishes, my talents, my hopes manifest in some of them.
