Hey, Amanda!
Thanks for your question and what a searching question it is!
Wow...what have I been up to in STF in the last year? Well, it would take too long to say everything that I have been involved with and probably I would miss out a few things, but let me start with some examples below.
Fleet Six Report Forms (June 2006): I was asked to update and provide new report forms for Fleet 6.
Fleet Six MOTD (June 2006): I was asked to provide a complete new MOTD for Fleet 6.
Fleet Three MOTD (June 2006): The Fleet 3 MOTD broke slightly. I volunteered to come up with a new design.
USS Draco Ship Website (June 2006): Requested by Captain Andrew Robinson, I'll be designing and coding a web site for the USS Draco of Fleet 5.
Oed V Colony Website (May 2006): Requested by Fleet Captain Symon Silvester, I'll be designed and coded a web site for Oed V of Fleet 6.
Library Work (May 2006): I added ENERGIE, the new EDept charter, as well as the new version of FCOMM.
SS Bonaventure Website (May 2006): I provided my technical skills and helped Krys out when she was having HTML issues.
Engineering Department MOTD (May 2006): The Engineering Department, under the leadership of acting EDir Andrew Robinson, got a spiffy new MOTD based off of the latest standards.
Gamemaster Department (April 2006): I took the Gamemaster Department, which had suffered from staff issues since December, and turned it back around into a well-functioning machine.
Academy Report Forms Update (April 2006): Jack Dipper asked me to make a small modification to the Academy report forms to clean it up.
Volunteer Bug-Squishing (April 2006): Somehow, a variety of different effWeBB bugs came to my attention and I ended up writing explanations and comments for the Internet Department on how to fix them.
Command Minutes Template (February 2006): In my role as Assistant Librarian, I designed and coded the template for the command minutes.
Library Department Policies Page (February 2006): I designed and coded a page to collect all of the individual department's policy pages into one place.
USS Challenger MOTD (February 2006): Recently, the Academy Commandant released the requirement for all Academy ship MOTDs to be in a standardized format. The Challenger was the first to show off a smashing new MOTD designed by me.
USS Kansas MOTD (February 2006): The Kansas had to be one of my more unique MOTDs, as CO Brian Olinski came to me with a request for John Deere tractor colors. I've had great feedback on the results!
SS Bonaventure (January 2006): That's right, another MOTD, this one for Symon Silvester. We were going for more of an "old-time" feel and we succeeded! I redid this MOTD for Krystelle Bromilow when she took command.
Fleet 3 Report Forms (January 2006): This month saw Fleet 3 as the first of many converts to my report forms. Kenson sent me some clear specifications on what he wanted and so everyone filled out new forms for their January report.
Fleet 2 Report Forms (January 2006): Fleet 2 was the second convert, with Kat's questions easily being moved over onto something much more helpful than the existing forms.
Fleet 5 Report Forms (January 2006): Alas, the last convert was Fleet 5.
USS Challenger Monthly Report Form (January 2006): In an effort to be able to give our cadets more precise feedback, my Challenger staff and I created the monthly report form for both of us to fill out.
USS Challenger Bios Page (January 2006): Bios are one of the hardest parts of figuring out how to roleplay, so Symon Silvester, the Challenger's CNS, and I decided to set a good example and show off our own characters' bios. One department head decided to participate and we hope to see more soon.
USS Challenger Graduation (January 2006): At the beginning of the month, the USS Challenger graduated what the Academy Staff termed as one of the best Academy ship graduate sets ever.
Bug Report Form (December 2005): In an attempt to streamline the process for minor effWeBB glitches, I created the bug report form. This form allows the Internet Department to get the information it requires as smoothly as possible, so that they can then concentrate on fixing the problem.
Fleet 1 Report Forms (December 2005): Symon Silvester admired the new Fleet 7 forms and outlined a new rating system he wanted to implement in his own fleet. I took his requirements and created a report form for Fleet 1.
Fleet 1 Fleet Command Report Forms: To go with the regular report forms, Symon requested a form for the fleet command to fill out as well.
Gamemaster Training Program Mandate (November 2005): Continuing the trend set by the Reference Manual Mandate, this mandate will hammer down some of the particulars of the Program that aren't dealt with in OGRE. It was successfully mandated!
Handling GM Complaints (November 2005): Part of OGRE 1.7 was the detailing of how GM complaints were to be handled. I sorted out a complaints process, which was tested on two separate occasions. It improved the process immensely.
Fleet 7 Report Forms (October 2005): Jess had a number of questions about fleet report forms and I told her that I'd be more than happy to write one up for her if she provided me with the questions. She provided them and soon had a new form.
USS Challenger (September 2005): One of my dreams in STF was to be involved with the Academy, either as XO or as CNS. I achieved this: out of character command of the ship as XO. The Challenger was also suffering from some neglect when I took over and, with the help of a wonderful CNS and a great senior staff, the ship has gone from one of the messier Academy ships to a spotless roster full of brilliant new members.
Reference Manual Mandate (August 2005): The Reference Manual was vaguely established in OGRE and by a number of department mandates that refer to it as the IC Database. As part of my plan to ensure that there were no questions about the more important roles of the GMD, a brief discussion was held and then drafts were posted for public commentary. The mandate was made successfully .
New GMD MOTD (August 2005): The GMD became the proud owner of one of the first XHTML Strict compliant departmental MOTDs.
The Site Rebuild (August 2005): Everyone has been getting tons of harassing e-mails from Larry about the site clean-up. I've pondered adding "Larryese Translator" to my official list of positions. I've spent quite a bit of time volunteering and explaining to COs and QDirs what they need to do to get their sites into tip-top shape, through IM, e-mail, and IRC.
Academy MOTDs (August 2005): Again, to present a more continuous appearance, I rewrote the Academy HQ and the Q&A Ship MOTDs to meet Jack's design.
STF Library (August 2005): I helped to transform the Academy courses into their current form.
/me blinks.
I didn't even think I'd done that much and that's not even the full list! <G> The full list will be available on our campaign site, so please stay tuned!
Thanks again for your question, Amanda. I hope this shows you what I have been up to. <G>
