Temporary Insanity
You enter the door
Meet my eyes
And breathe a billowy breeze
Across my head
Beads of sweat on your brow
Your hands pillow my ears
Your fingers clasp my neck
And bring your lips to mine
You grab the collar of your
Shirt on my back
And kiss so deep
The muzzle on my heart
Is released and allowed to beat
Freely as you press
Your flesh
Against mine so hard
You straighten the kinks in my back
You bend your knees
To nuzzle the creases of my breasts
Push one of my happy hips to the wall
Spreading me wide like valleys low
You kiss the peaceful lilies to my soul.
Hungry for your watering
I bend my emotions and
Pull support from behind you
Only to carry us to a place
Called temporary insanity-
Temporary in sanity
And just as i regain consciousness
You send sunshine inside
Your sunshine revives me
And gives my body rhythm
And grooves
Your sunshine oozes
Into my soul
Through my valley
Beneath my peaceful lily
And causes my earth to shake
My earth quakes
From the sunshine and grooves
Rhythm and blues
And we
Embracing
Against the wall
Psalms in heated palms
And we breathe in deep
Each other's humanity
And share temporary insanity.
