it's just election season
that special time when libertarians go crazy for some nutball
every day the heat builds
every day their fervor grows wilder and wilder
every day their eyes, milkier and milkier
the whole world buzzes and screams
their fantasy is turgid
throbbing
moist
at a pitch
its power ready to break the hymen of reality itself
they'll all pay
oh god it feels so good
then election day comes
their fever breaks and they subside
to be seen again when the stars are right
basically cicadas, annoying and noisy and messy but basically harmless.
pay it no mind
