: : Hiya, Kangi.
: :
: : Here are my top five goals, although they're not in any order, except for #1.
: :
: : 1) Ensure that STF is fun for everyone!
: :
: : 2) Give members the support they need at every level of the club, from cadet to admiral, junior officer to cabinet member.
: :
: : 3) Encourage people to get involved and truly make it your club.
: :
: : pi) Give everyone an animal alias... just kidding. <G>
: :
: : 4) Address membership recruitment, advertising, and existing member retention.
: :
: : 5) Double-check that all of the fleets and ships have what they need to be great places to play and become unique atmospheres.
: :
: : Thanks for the question!

: You're welcome :)
:
: However maybe I should have phrased it better. I like your goals, especially number 4!
:
: But can you add a few 'work stuff' things you want to tackle after your possible election? I mean as to how you want to achieve those goals.
:
: Thank you :)

Well, since I like the number five, here are five ways that I plan to accomplish the five themes:
1) Repeal the election edict and put it up for general post-election discussion.
2) Correct the spelling errors and inconsistencies in the latest version of FCOMM. Edicts are an important part of STF and we believe that the errors in this present a poor public image. We would also like to review the procedural steps in FCOMM, just in case there is more public discussion or debate that should be included.
3) Conduct a club-wide survey to make sure that FComms and COs are getting the support they need to maintain healthy fleets and ships.
4) Provide clear expectations to cabinet members with regards to their departments and what we expect from them (and what they expect from us in return).
5) Ensure that discussions and other opportunities for involvement are advertised as much as possible to give everyone a chance to participate.
Thanks, Julia!
