Learning Experience
By Joe Phillips
As a team we had to learn C# which means it was more likely that bugs could be introduced if we didn't take the proper precautions. We researched and learned C# and made sure to note anything interesting that we expected might cause us to inject bugs in the future. We then created a checklist of each of the issues that we were concerned about. Focusing on the issues helped us remember them which, in the end, helped us learn C#.
We also got the chance to create an installer and create a test plan for it. This is a common piece of any project. Therefore, it was helpful to go through a test plan beforehand to be aware of the problems that we could encounter with it.
