We've been around for such a long time, and we knew we would face much turmoil. Have you read the newsbar? Code Lyoko is ending at Season 4. But... Well, you can't get to Tech Links. You know why? Because it is likely that we will very soon be facing a LEGAL threat.
Wherever this threat will actually come from, the reason we know about it is that we know how it started. Some of you already are aware. But we've been sort of keeping it a secret for the past few days.
One of our own members out of spite and personal enimity to [b]wartonchan[/b] started up an email discussion with the administrator of codelyoko.com. About Tech Links. Which as everyone knows offers episodes for download, something we shouldn't be doing. With the intent of shutting it down.
This member is [b]Hikaru[/b]. You might know her.
She at first demanded certain things from us, but the rules are only fair when they apply equally to everyone and living off the whim of another person would be kind of stupid.
Some of you might not have liked the rules. They were quite strict. Sometimes the admins were rude too. But I think they were applied pretty fairly. wartonchan wasn't the most popular. But, that's mostly because he's the only one who was enforcing the rules. If you didn't like the rules, now that they're not ever going to be enforced on you again, think them over for a bit from a neutral perspective.
Admittedly I (toor, you might know me as comex) underestimated her ability to actually carry through with her threats-- to trumpet the horn to Moonscoop, to do everything in her power to shut it down. I might have been more willing to acquiesce if I realized she was really going to do it, and that she COULD do it. But she did, and she can, and now it is out of even her control.
We are a little bitter. All of the administrators. What's done is done but that excuses [b]Hikaru[/b] from nothing. This is not taking down some forum. This is taking down the best Code Lyoko fansite on the internet-- or so we think!-- and a source of episode downloads as well.

I don't know. I have a vested interest in TL. I've been with it for a long time. So has everyone else. You don't. But I hope you'll be pretty pissed at this announcement, like I am. After all, if you didn't like TL anyway, why are you here?
