Hey, it’s Jake. My account got unfairly banned.
This is the full story of how my account, Combokid1052 got unfairly perm banned. I was banned for “Real World Trading” and “Encouraging Others to Break Rules.”
I wanted to make big money, so I decided to try killing the Kalphite Queen. I met a person, Molson 1903 (he also had 2 other main accounts, X Chron X and 8 Jigsaw 8), and we KQed together. He seemed to be a nice kid, but I soon realized he was a jerk. But anyway, one day, after we had stopped KQing for a while, I saw him and he seemed a lot richer than before. I asked him how he made so much money so fast, and he simply replied, “I cheat.” And I asked him to elaborate, he said that he participated in a staking glitch. Curious, I asked to know a little more about it. He told me a few basic things, it required 3 people, you get 3 people into arena, 2 fight, 1 stays, 1 of the 2 that fought comes back in with someone else, and then 1 x logs if necessary. But that was not nearly enough for me to know how to do the glitch, and I never tried to figure it out, I didn’t talk to him for while after that.
Then, I started to stake, and I loved it. After a while, I realized my old friend, Molson 1903 was also staking, so we started to talk again. We became friends again, but still, I never participated in anything he did.
He was an odd kid. He had anger problems, and was one of the biggest jerks I had ever met. But he often gave me free items, like full ahrims or something else when I lost a lot of money staking, like a good friend would. This is what I think got me, him often giving me free items, or items very cheap, but no matter what it looked like, I really never did anything illegal to Runescape.
One day I could not take his personality any more, and I did what I should have done from the beginning (yet still isn’t illegal that I didn’t) and I sent in a bug abuse report on him. About a week later, I was walking towards Lumby, and I lost connection, I tried to log back in, it said I was banned. I tried to appeal, but they seemed to be auto denied. I remember, included in my “Last Chance” appeal response, a Mod said “Your attitude in the game is very bad.” It made me laugh, as all my friends said I was very nice, I talked with correct grammar, people even said I should be a player mod. It’s ironic, when I got disconnected then banned, I was walking to lumby to give some of my friends in real life 100k each, just because I was doing good staking that day.
So to sum things up, I was unfairly banned because I never broke a rule, I was friends with someone that did, yet still never participated with him. My account Combokid1052, which had over 3 years of work on him, was perm banned because of association. Do you think that’s fair?
