Recommendation: This is my 3rd OVH Box and i can say 100Mbit boxes are great, but u wont max out the 1000Mbit boxes outside france, not even a bit, 11MB/sec is most i reached, outside france the routing seems to drop down to 100Mbit.

Type: Alterna (rented twice now)
Speed: 100mbit
Note: Nearly always at 9-10MB/s on new torrents, only got it to 11MB/s once though. Brilliant support, they're really quick and know what they're doing.
Recommendation: I've used 3 Vectoral servers now and am definately planning on getting another one soon.
Provider: Vectoral
OS: Windows Server 2k3 Web Edition
Type: Silkwire
Speed: 100mbit
Note: Speeds of 10MB/s down on new torrents, upload was slightly less (I think it was a lack of leeches, not speed on the server) at about 7-8MB/s. I had a speed of almost 4-5MB/s constantly uploading with it though since it could handle more torrents than the Alterna seemed to.
Recommendation: Awesome if you can afford the $200/month.
Provider: Vectoral, Rundgren
OS: Debian Lenny
Type: Dedicated
Speed: 100MBit/s, 1TB
Notes: Cheap, reliable, good speeds. Unfortunately hardware is too old to handle fast disc encryption, so my speeds are not maxed out. Average speed 3-4mbit/s (with disc encrytion). Small disc (olny 20GB) but they didn't had them on stok and gave me 35GB :)
Recommendtaion: yes, but only for n00b seedboxers

Note: Fast set up, great speeds can't fault it tbh
Recommendation: yes, if you can afford it (I rented it with a friend)
Provider: Hosting-IE
OS: Debian
Type: VPS
Speed: Peaks at about 6MB/s down and 3MB/s up [edit - it can hit 11MB/s up but goes very laggy and sometimes crashes, still not bad for the money though]
Note: Hmm where to start, the set up took almost a month and the support people lied to me about when it would be set up, that said its actually a pretty good deal because the bandwidth is unmetered and its very cheap (£12 p/m)
Recommendation: yes, although don't expect it to be set up any time soon after you order it
Provider: Micfo
OS: Windows Server 2003
Type: Dedicated
Speed: 11MB/s up/down(Some times a get speeds like 14-15 MB/s

Recommendation: Very good, fast set up, no setup fee, very helpful
Provider:Keyweb
OS: Windows 2003
Type: VPS
Speed: 10MB/s down and under 1MB/s up
Note: Setup was fairly fast, speeds aren't all that great for the price. Towards the end they started limiting my speeds guess I was using too much bandwidth. Only had a 30GB HD
Recommendation: Would not go with again, there are so many other seedboxes that have great speeds and HD space.
