Currently Running Solaris Express b70 - b76 (bfu ON). I get all sorts of DMA mode messages in /var/adm/messages showing a possible DMA issue.

Here is the entry from the log:

The main issue is I am getting 8MB/s transfers from my Hard Drives when I should be pulling between 15MB/s and 25MB/s as I do with the onboard controllers.

SECOND_IN_COMMAND.ISO
  3127193600 100% 8.00MB/s 0:06:12 (xfer#6, to-check=1/7)

There is a copy/paste from a transfer by rsync, this is not a network copy, all local drives, still this slow...

If you have any ideas let me know, it seems to be an IRQ/DMA conflict, but with the cards having no setup for IRQ and my Motherboard lacking as well, its left to the OS to force the right settings it seems...

Board seems to be giving these cards IRQ's on boot, but the OS is using IRQ 21 is not anything the BIOS assigns. Also, I have tried Ubuntu 7.10 and the box grinds to a halt when accessing drives in raid, or a single drive from a single card.
