[12:44am] <NunyerB> so that eeprom is 2megs and i use 2 blocks of 128KB for the 256KB bin i got backed up....where is the other 1.5megs
[12:44am] <NunyerB> is that where the checksum gets changed?
[12:44am] <~zebra> it could be that the extraction mechanism isn't targetting the PROM correctly
[12:44am] <~zebra> and this is highly likely.
[12:45am] <NunyerB> i need to find more info on this...something isnt right
[12:45am] <NunyerB> it should be 2meg
[12:45am] <~zebra> yup
[12:45am] <~zebra> and if it isn't
[12:46am] <~zebra> it suggests extraction isn't correct
[12:46am] <~zebra> :s
[12:46am] <NunyerB> yea but i used it and also the program comes with all the original firmwares for different drives so all you have to do is "inject" your key with its original firmware
[12:46am] <NunyerB> they are all 256kb
[12:47am] <NunyerB> not just my original i backed up but their originals the program comes with in case you mess your own original up or never backed it up
[12:47am] <NunyerB> maybe it has something to do with being a "differential flash"
[12:47am] <NunyerB> it never does an erase
[12:48am] <~zebra> well
[12:48am] <~zebra> there is a likelihood that the differential flash hasn't overwritten stuff
[12:48am] <~zebra> rather
[12:48am] <~zebra> it has overlapped an offset
[12:48am] <~zebra> and broken something
[12:48am] <~zebra> badly.
