Overview of what we have already learnt
Psalm 23:1
We have learnt that our Lord has paid a price for us, that He has purchased us out of the enemies field and into His own field.
We have learnt that He is our Shepherd, meaning He takes care of us, that we have been branded by Him that we belong to Him.
We then saw that to not be in want, revealed to us not to crave anything but the will of God, and that can only happen when we are close to the Shepherd, as we want to please Him and we are filled by being next to Him.
The same lesson we also saw that with crops we don’t see the fruit straight away, it takes a while for the crop to grow, if we are seeing a crop of heartache, anger, rebellion etc then think back about the harvest that we planted and that God was NOT really our Master when we planted them, the good thing about planting is that right we can choose to come under God and start to plant new seeds, yes we may not reap is straight away but we can and will see the fruit and say ‘I shall not be in want’
Psalm 23:2
We then saw with the first part of this verse, that sheep cant lay down if
They cannot lie down unless they are free from all fear.
They cannot lie down if they are in friction with other sheep.
They cannot lie down if they are tormented by parasites.
They cannot lie down if they are hungry

He leads me beside Quiet Waters…
This over the last few days has really hit-home with me, the first part is HE
He = our Shepherd, our Master, The one who has called us out of another field and into His own, the one who has purchased us for a price, the one who is our Shepherd not only in certain events but in ALL.
He our Shepherd Leads me, does He lead us into disharmony? Does He lead us to doubt? Does He lead us to strife? Does He lead us to frustration? If He doesn’t, then who does?
Who is leading us or trying to push us into the opposite direction?
We are often tried to be led a different direction, when we are discouraged, when we are accused
Revelation 12:10
God leads us to peace, God leads us to grace, God leads us to faith, see sheep are too scared to go by turbulent water, as they have lanolin on their wool, lanolin makes them semi water resistant from rain and dew, however once submersed in water they drown they get stuck they can not get out. This is why the shepherd leads them His way, His way which isn’t to harm the mind body or soul.
His way which is Quiet Waters, Still Waters, not turbulent, not full of rage, but quiet still gentle water.
We know that Water is linked to deliverance
Exodus 14:21
We know that Water is linked to a miracle
John 2:1-11
We know that Water is linked to healing
2 Kings 5:14
We know that Water is linked to fullness
John 4:14
This is the Water God leads us to. This does not mean we do not go through trials, What this means is that God has set out blueprints of how to handle situations, He has made a pathway, He is wanting to lead us His way.
We can be surrounded by bad circumstances that aren’t our doing, yet in the midst of this we can be Lead to the Quiet Waters.
In God’s water we will see our deliverance, and miracles we need, and then healing, but please note this is God’s water. If you haven’t had deliverance or the miracle you need and you aren’t coping, please know that the chances are that you aren’t being lead by God to the waters, but probably by satan who is the destroyer of your soul, That’s why you cant get rest and peace.
We need to build our lives in this direction, under the temples they were instructed to build them over gentle flowing waters. Every temple of God was built like this.

However the good news is, is that God is waiting for you to be lead again by Him, as your Shepherd so He can lead you to this place, that you may have forgotten, the place of quiet still – perfect waters, that do set you free, filled with miracles and healing and fulfilment.
