 $ ffmpeg -i mohd.flv -sameq -ss 42 -t 10 mohdtest.flv

Seems that stream 0 comes from film source: 1000.00 (1000/1) -> 25.00 (25/1)
Input #0, flv, from 'mohd.flv':
  Duration: 00:08:28.5, bitrate: N/A
  Stream #0.0: Video: flv, yuv420p, 480x272, 25.00 fps(r)
  Stream #0.1: Audio: mp3, 22050 Hz, stereo
Output #0, flv, to 'mohdtest2.flv':
  Stream #0.0: Video: flv, yuv420p, 480x272, q=2-31, 200 kb/s, 25.00 fps(c)
Stream mapping:
  Stream #0.0 -> #0.0

Basically, no sound + Encoding is really poor. I basically just need to use ffmpeg to cut a clip and retain all the original properties of the master-clip. Any way to do this? I have tried a lot of combinations of specifying size, bitrate, audio channels, etc. but no luck. Any help much appreciated - thanks.
