Flashing (lights)
Light comes flickering off passing cars
My only moon
Leaves moving shadows
Thundering lights sound a (silent) horn
I lay for hours to listen
With stones under my back
Speeding Rushing Meandering
A break in the flurry of wind artificial
Blurred white and red (streamers)
Like flashing pictures and moments saved
I rest looking up at the bridge
Looking up at structural beams square
Looking up at pipes round

Shadows sweep 70
Long short long reverse
Made in night time rush
Laying on my back under the bridge
I hear the cars
I’m cold
My fingers are cold
I feel my fingers on my face -on my cheek
A car travels slower
It’s passed
A rock beneath my foot slips
I am firm
I am at an angle
I find purchase
I am steadfast
Then I look forward
Pillars receding nearer
