I started editing the databases directly, hoping to pass along a trimmed database file that would contain all the records needed to load the items into the inventory. To test I made two shapes that were different and exited the game. I went into the inventory database and asset database to edit their names so they would not both say "new shape" upon reloading. I then re-started the server and logged onto the client. The names were correct and persisted correctly after shutdown. I then changed the blob data in the asset db so that both of the shapes would be the same.

[13:58:10] elissa says: I then tried loading the asset in at startup via the assets xml file. It loads the correct blob data but does not affect the settings in the game.
[13:58:43] elissa says: The inventory entries do not change, theyir UUID and asset ID remain the same and pointed towards the right entires in the asset db.
[13:59:03] elissa says: But they are getting their data from somewhere else, I do not know where or how to correct it.
