Decentralized (hybrid) mode
---------------------------

1. Each sim also is a user/grid/asset server.

There are a certain number of users who can register on the sim.

Their assets are stored on their "home" sim.

2. Web of trust between the sims

The identity of the user is trusted transitively by the sims, as the user traverses them.

3. 'crossdomain teleport'

Source sim X verifies that destination sim Y exists and can accept the user. After that the user is teleported to the sim Y (cross-domain, i.e. it is not the same "grid")

requests for the assets are forwarded back to the A-server of the user's home sim.

4. UUID collisions, and resource location (throttled)

The collisions should be resolved by means of using the internet-wide DHT (opendht ?), to store the information about the UUID - this would avoid the registration collisions, and can help with directions towards the storage (which uuid is stored where).

5. There is a single registration server - where the sims, which have the capacity for the new users, subscribe, and the registrations are redirected there. Once the sims' capacity fills - they disconnect, and do not accept further registrations.

6. Loginuri is the user's home sim.

------------------------------

Advantages:

1. No single point of failure (besides the initial registration)

2. possibility to run versions of various stability, and test things without bringing down the whole grid

3. there can be separate "grids", (within intranets) - still without the centralized administration.

------------------------------

Challenges:

1) teleport from sim A (1000,1000) to sim B(1000,1000)

2) DHT: code :)

3) security

4) money. how ?
