18:05 < Maurits> nbd: weren't you the person who imported b43 into svn?
18:06 -!- aquadran [i=aquadran@scummvm/undead/aquadran] has joined #openwrt
18:06 -!- zinx [n=zinx@unaffiliated/zinx] has quit [Read error: 110 (Connection timed out)]
18:07 < forum2006> wow. lots of changes in bb 1.8.0
18:07 < nbd> Maurits: yes
18:07 < thresh> ok, brand new shiny wl500gp indahouse
18:07 < Maurits> I got it to build and semi-work yesterday
18:07 < InsolitWork> mhh... I wonder why when running the dropbear tunnel as boot scripts it logs that the host is not in trusted hosts file (using public key authentication), but the file
/tmp/.ssh/known_hosts is already there. And if i log into to the router and run the script myself the tunnel is created automatically without any problems
18:08 < nbd> Maurits: semi-work?
18:08 < Maurits> it currently fails because the ciphers needed for WEP aren't compiled into the kernel
18:08 < Maurits> (ECD and ARC4)
18:08 < InsolitWork> Do you guys have any idea of what's going wrong?
18:08 < Maurits> nbd: the driver inserts, loads its firmware, initializes everything
18:08 < nbd> cool
18:08 < nbd> the crypto thing is probably easy to fix
18:09 < Maurits> but doesn't seem to recognize the format of the SPROM, so it doesn't actually _work_ yet
18:09 < Maurits> that was after fixing the crypto
18:09 < nbd> i've seen some sprom patches on the wireless dev list
18:09 -!- ScarEye [n=scareye@pool-68-161-68-131.ny325.east.verizon.net] has quit []
18:09 < nbd> probably upgrading to a newer wireless-2.6 snapshot could help
18:09 < Maurits> uh huh, I've sent a mail there explaining what goes wrong
18:09 < InsolitWork> I wonder if when i run ssh in the boot sequence if he does not look in /tmp/.ssh/known_hosts but somewhere else
18:10 < Maurits> I took the git-HEAD to work with
18:10 < nbd> i think larry finger added support for a newer sprom format
18:10 < thresh> does ipw2200 work in owrt? i.e. is there a prebuilt module ?
18:10 < Maurits> both exhibit the same problems, the GIT-head and the version you imported as a package
18:11 < nbd> Maurits: http://article.gmane.org/gmane.linux.kernel.wireless.general/7673
18:11 < nbd> maybe it wasn't merged yet
18:11 < Maurits> uh huh
18:11 < nbd> the patches that i'm talking about are easy to find with gmane
18:11 < Maurits> I'll have a go at patching the driver tonight
18:11 < nbd> ok, sounds good
18:12 < nbd> let me know when you have it working, then i'll merge your changes
18:12 < nbd> would be cool to have this in the next release this month
18:12 < Maurits> ok
