The Order of the Dark Dragoon
The Dragoon Code
1. Introduction
Ditched, coming soon
2. The Dark Dragoons
The Dark Dragoons are a force unlike any seen before in our world. They are frigid and cannot be negotiated with. Through suffering and anguish they seek only to serve themselves and to have others do the same. While an alliance between those of similar moral adversity, they are still a unit of trust and loyality to their own cause. The Dark Dragoons neutrality is a gray blur in a world of black and white offering advice and assistance to those that the Dark Dragoon can benefit from.
1.Dark Dragoons commit themselves to Dearuhk. Dearuhk gives the Dark Dragoons the ability to be unrelentless and unfavorable. A Dark Dragoon causes pain to restore power to Dearuhk. A Dark Dragoon exhausts all his resources to the task of becomming mighter, to be accepted by dearuhk.
2. The Dark Dragon Knight is the leader and proprietor of the Dark Dragoons. Assistance or advice from the Dark Dragoons is filtered through the Dark Dragoon in order to ensure that defection or betrayal be not a fear of the Dark Dragoons. Dark Dragoons seeking further strength and power would speak to the Dark Dragon Knight in order to recieve a gift from the dearuhk.
3.The Dark Dragoons have always shown a number of qualities that set them apart from other groups and forces, alike.
a) Domination - It is the energy that drives the Dark Dragoons, to dominate over those weaker and less fortunate. Those who set themselves in the path of the Dark Dragoons face only the fate of kindling to the fire. Unrelentless and unwaivering, the urge to dominate is extrodinarily prominent in the Dark Dragoons.
b) Self-Righteousness - Much like a Dragoon, Dark Dragoon constantly improves himself to increase his dominance over other beings. Danger and Risk are set aside if it is for the benefit of the Dark Dragoon(s).
c) Criticism/comments - At any point, it is important to examine and analyze the flaws of each member of the Dark Dragoon. Each being is responsible for himself or herself, in order to be a feared force. An inability for a group of this nature to turn a blind eye to one's weaknesses would be certain weaknesses in the force itself.
d) Neutrality - The Dark Dragoons express their neutrality by offering their advice and assistance to nations and groups that would, in return, benefit the Dark Dragoons as a whole. If employed, be it for advice or assistance, and a party is unable to reward the Dark Dragoons in anyway, enslavement of that party's people would be a solid guarantee.
e) Determination - It is mandated that no Dark Dragoon give up his task. It is not only dishonorable, it is a sign of weakness. A Dark Dragoon will face each challenge with the will to continue his deed, regardless of emotion or personal politics.
4. If a Dragoon strays from the path of the Dearuhk, they will be punished for their insolence. The force will seek the betrayer of Dearuhk and compell them to reconsider and replenish their devotion to Dearuhk.
5. Service to the Dark Dragoons.
a) Aides to the cause are welcome, however Dark Dragoons are a select few. Only the most loyal, adept, and deviant are selected to join the ranks. Service is not always concentual, but loyalty is always expected.
b) Those who meet forementioned requirements to serve the Dark Dragoons and wish to become a Dark Dragoon are contacted in person. Requesting an audience with the order only furthers your duties as a servant, and places you farther away from acheiving greatness.
The three abilities required of all full Dragoons are as follows:
Dragoon Jump: By using their powerful legs, the Draconians can achieve an amazing jump, ranging anywhere from 10 to 40 feet high, almost as a Dragon taking flight. Non-Draconians as well use leg strength to accomplish this, much of a squire's training spent on increasing it. However, the true power behind their jump is a desire to, above all, reach the Dragon Spirit and become one. Through this, one can propel themself into the air, reaching, on average, about half the hight of a Draconian.
Dragoon Dash: This technique is very similar to the Dragoon Jump, but in a forward motion. This requires a larger space to be covered, and is not as versatile. However, unlike a normal charge, a Dragoon can regain their footing quickly, making it a much less wild tactic. This is best used in conjunction with a spear.
Dragoon Link: Draconians have a natural telepathy that can be formed between those who become close enough to each other. This is imparted onto non-human Dragoons as well. As long as one remains in the brotherhood, they can communicate with other nearby Dragoons using this. The Dragon Knight posesses a greater ability, and can open his thoughts to multiple Dragoons at once.
3. Dragons
Dragons are beasts sacred to the Dragoon Order. The responsibility falls on the Dragoons to protect Dragons wherever it is needed, but also to destroy any Dragons that would threaten peace.
The Dragon Den, where the Dragoon's Dragons are kept, is a sacred ground, and any non-Dragoons that tread in its halls is subject to immediate death. Squires may not enter the Den either. In the event of an emergency or attack, the Dragon Den will be most first and most important in securing.
Each full Dragoon will get their own Dragon. As the bond between Dragon and Dragoon grow, each will find themselves changing. The nature of these changes are not able to be discussed here, as each Dragoon must discover this on their own.
In the event a Dragon is killed or dies, the grandest of ceremonies will be held in its honor. When a Dragon dies, the first month will be one of mourning, and the amount of meditations will be increased for this time.
