	3.7 Issues and Ambiguities

•	Initially there is a card array of size 52, which is filled with 52 individual cards. It is felt that this is not flexible enough. Therefore, it has been decided to have an ArrayList of card objects, which will allow greater flexibility when simulating passing, losing and gaining cards within the game.

•	The Betting rules do not clarify if a player is allowed to force his opponent to “fold” by raising the bet to an amount the other player does not have. We have decided that this will not be allowed, as it will allow an unfair advantage to the opponent. The solution to this will be setting the maximum bet allowed only to the maximum amount the other player has.

•	The rules of Queen’s Gambit state that the cards Jack, Queen and King all have the same values (11), and the Ace has the value 12. A tricky issue for us was to create 3 different cards with the same value. Our solution was to have a Card class which has two attributes; value and card value, for example, if values are 11, 12, or 13 then the card value is 11.

•	The rules were not clear as to whether there should be an option for allowing card values to be changed when creating a custom deck. We have decided to allow overloading in the Card class to allow the card values to be set.

•	Regarding game saving, the project definition did not define which elements specifically need to be saved. Because the meaning of “state” (as written in the definition file) is ambiguous, we have made a list of things that will be saved in the file. These are listed below.

o	Player Name
o	Player Chip Total
o	Player Cards in Hand
o	Items on Table (Chips, Cards, etc)
o	Date/Time
o	Who is Dealer
o	Deck State
o	Whose turn it is
o	Current Difficulty Level

•	There is a lack of detail about what exactly is required for the GUI. An example of this is regarding chips. Should there be separate chips, should they be images or just a counter.
We have decided that there will be a static image of the betting chips; however a counter will indicate what chips are available to the player.
