Eckerd College has been affected by periodic failures of core Internet routes between the
Tier One Internet Service Providers.
This means both that certain web sites are periodically unavailable from campus, and that
our web servers appear down or slow to users accessing from certain locations.
This outage is affecting large numbers of network domains and organizations, not just
Eckerd College.
ITS is in contact with our ISP, Time Warner Telecom, about this issue, and we will inform
campus of new developments as we become aware of them.
