public text v1 · immutable 10.3 installation crashed during 1. restart during installation. repair not possible. was dual boot with XP - reformated whole harddisk . made fixmbr on XP but grub is still there with choice between xp and menu opensuse10.3 installer local. How do I remove this grub which still controls something before fixmbr. want a clean startup before I try a new install
sgt> did you run fixboot on that drive also? or just fixmbr?
