- cat /etc/usplash.conf
- you'll most likely see
- xres=1280
- yres=1024
- ## Most likely, Your monitor can't display this to fix
- sudo /etc/usplash.conf
- ## Change to Resolution you can actually use on your monitor, in my case 1042x768 ##
- xres=1024
- yres=768
- "Ctrl+O" to save
- "ctrl+x" to quit
- Once you have changed it u need to update the theme with
- Code:
- sudo update-usplash-theme usplash-theme-ubuntu
- Restart.
