Hello, we are going to speak to you about Los Angeles that means "The Angels" in Spanish. It's a big town in the bottom of North Amerika.
Los Angeles is the second biggest town in the USA. There are 6 millions of inhabitants inside. It is well known
because of his scientists and cultural activites. There is a lot of foreigners who comes every day from all the world. This is because of its climat and its way of thinking.
In Los Angeles there is a lot of freeways, "surface streets", it is well known for its Congestion Car. It's the reason why the town asks people to chose another transport than the car. For example: the public transports. Los Angeles is full of buses, undergrounds and taxis. Of course people can use boat or tram to
move but we don't think that the bike is very used in this town.
In Los Angeles you can buy a ticket for 1.25$ (1,63 CHF) and you can use any public transports to go everywhere you want. This
is very cheap and you don't have to buy it in advance. We think it's a very good system. In Switzerland
the tickets are a little bit more expensive and we cannot use all the public transport with them. But just for a little bit more expensive, you can use helicopters^^.
In general there is some problems in Los Angeles with the pollution. The public transports like the undergrounds
are always crowded. But this is a very interesting town well organised !
