Good day to you, first of all: Let us introduce ourselves. We are enthusiastic developers for an open source firmware replacement for various digital audio players. Our project webpage is at http://www.rockbox.org .
Currently we are investigating various players based upon your fine chips, mainly the TCC771L and TCC773L based players of Cowon and Logik. And we are making some progress on these players based on reverse engineering of the current firmwares of those players.
In the past we have made use of publicly available datasheets of freescale for the coldfire based players, and rockbox runs very well on top of these platforms. We would like to be able to support the telechips players as well as we can support the coldfire based players.
On that note, I would like to kindly ask for telechips support in this matter, and if it would be possible for telechips to make available to rockbox the datasheets of the various telechips parts used in Digital Audio Players.
