You are an adventurer, be you a sailor, a traveler, even airships crewmen. Or even just a plain ol Joe who wants to be one of those things, you lusted for the unknown, for something more.
One day one of you got a letter. The messenger looked like he was from half way around the world and indeed he had been that far and back trying to find him. Apparently your uncle who you had barely known from your childhood and only met but a few times had died and left him something. He tore open the letter and read it. Apparently your uncle’s life long dream was to get his hands on an airship. He worked his whole life to save up the money to construct a simple, small craft so he could feel the wind in his hair and look down upon the earth below. Sadly he died before he realized his dream by a very small margin of but a few short years. He has left the nearly complete airship to him, his only relative he had fond memories of.

The letter reads as follows
Dear “Add name here”.
I know we have not seen each other in what seems to have been an eternity but I always look back on the fond memories we shared with a smile. No one else in our family can claim that.
I write this letter on my last legs. I barely have the strength to put quill to paper but this must get through to you.
I have heard you are quite the sailor? Thus you have experience with ships. I myself have never had experience with a ship but I have always dreamed of sailing. Though not in the water but in the sky! When I first heard of airships as a wee boy I thought it was impossible! A device that lets you fly that a non-adventuring man or wealthy man could maybe someday afford? I spent my life slowly putting away money while advancing in my career till one day I had enough to afford a small hull. I was overjoyed that my dream was slowly coming to be! I walked up and down that deck every off day I had and dreamed of the wind in my hair, touching the clouds with my own hands it was wonderful! Then I got enough money to have a simple engine constructed. It wasn’t much; a simple wood burning engine but it was enough to get me off the ground. But then, shortly after… I fell Ill.
My funds, rather then going to finishing my airship went to taking care of my health. My dream was so close yet so far! And I could no longer work to pursue it. So I started thinking what would happen to my airship? The beauty I had yet to even give a name? Then I thought of you.
I had kept up on you as I have of all our family’s affairs. Apparently you are quite the adventurer hmm? My dream must be your curse thanks to making sea fairing vessels obsolete.
Well anyway this is where I get to the point. I’m leaving my ship to you, the one family member that I still care about on the conditions you finish her with your own money, and the first time you take her up you feel the wind in your hair and look down upon the earth and smile, For me, your uncle.

In this game you either take the roll of the person who received the letter, one of his friends, or one of his partners who helped invest money into the ship.
You all have equal money invested so you all have equal ownership but you must take roles on the ship.
