Object of the game
The object is to have the highest score at the end of the game.
Bank
The bank carries an amount of points, and a charge (neutral
by default). When the bank becomes fully charged by either
pole, the points in the bank are dumped toward that team,
and the bank resets to being neutral with 0 points. The
player that caused the bank to dump gets twice as many
points as the rest of the team. For example, if the bank has
100 points, and there are 3 players on the team, the player
that dumped the bank gets 50 points, and the other 2 players
get 25 points.
Cards
There are several cards:
Single Power
Double Power
Triple Power
Positive Cards [+] [++] [+++]
Negative Cards [-] [--] [---]
When played, these cards cause the bank to move toward the
positive or negative side.
If a player plays their team's card, the bank moves toward
their team's polarity, and points are added to the bank.
If a player plays the opposing team's card, the bank
still moves toward the opposing team, except that half
the amount that would normally be added to the bank is
added directly to that person's score.
Card Power Polarity Change Score Change
Single 1 300
Double 2 200
Triple 3 100
Neutral Cards [=] [==] [===]
Neutral cards move the bank closer to neutrality. This can
help or hurt a team depending on where the bank currently is.
For each power of a neutral card, the bank moves one polarity
point toward neutral. If the bank is already neutral, the
powers are worth 100 points each. For example, if the bank
is -2 a [===] card will move the bank to 0 and add 100 points.
Bipolarity Cards [±] [±±] [±±±]
These cards will simply add score to the bank without moving
it. Each power is worth 100 pts.
Gameplay
Each player starts by selecting a team. Play is rotated in
the order that the players selected teams. Each player initially
recieves 6 random cards.
When it's a player's turn they may either use a card, or use
an object in their inventory. Either way, they will then
recieve either a card or an object, and possibly bonus coins.
If a player does not move within 3 seconds of it becoming
their turn, they are penalized 1000 points and skipped.
The round ends at the end of a predetermined time limit. The
amount in the bank is split up amung all users evenly.
Shopping
Between rounds, players have 30 seconds to cash in their coins
for certain objects that may be on sale.
They can also use this time to trade objects with other users.
Objects
These are the objects that can be obtained either randomly upon
moving, or by buying them if they are for sale.
They are listed in order of most common to rarest.
[¢] Coins These are used primarly for currency. The
system awards these automatically at random
and for certain types of moves.
[ ] Useless This object has no use in the game, and
is given out at random. It is equal to 1/25th
of a coin.
[S] Skip This object uses up a turn without doing
anything.
[R] Reverse This object, when used, reverses the flow
of the game.
[:] Move Time Extends a player's move to 15 seconds.
[100][200][300]
[500][1000][5000] Instant points objects.
[&] Combine Allows a user to combine 2 moves into one.
[×2] Double This is used in conjunction with a card to
double it's effect.
[×3] Triple This is used in conjunction with a card to
triple it's effect.
[+:] Round Time + Adds a minute to the round's clock.
[-:] Round Time - Subtracts a minute from the round's clock. If it's less
than a minute, this has no use.
[?][??][???] Wild This can be changed into a card of any polarity.
[*] Invincible When used, the bank becomes invincible (undumpable) for
3 moves.
[T] Take When used, this allows a user to specify a type of object.
The object is randomly taken out of another player's inventory
and given to this player. If no player has the object, the
TAKE is forfeited.
[X] Swap Swaps the polarity of the bank a single time.
Powerdowns
Powerdowns are objects that negatively affect the player they are given to
and take affect immediately. These are rare.
[-100][-200][-300] Instant points loss
[L] Lose next turn
